Madi (She/her) is a board-certified registered art therapist, licensed marriage & family therapist, certified EMDR clinician, and Consultant-In-Training with 10+ years of experience supporting individuals (age 5+), relationships, and groups across the lifespan. Her clinical focus is supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, relationships, and families impacted by trauma, loss & grief, and relational transitions. Madi is also passionate about serving healthcare workers, fellow therapists, and caregivers. She currently is the President of the Iowa Art Therapy Association and provides clinical consultation consultation in art therapy & EMDR.

Sarah Steward, MS, MLA: MA Level Expressive Arts Therapist Intern
Sarah (she/her) is a Master's level student at Adler Graduate School (Minnesota), with an emphasis in Art Therapy. Sarah has a breath of knowledge, with advanced degrees in Adult Learning, Performance, & Development, Organizational Development, and Art Education, and over eighteen years of leadership experience. Her current goals post-graduation include becoming a Registered Art Therapist and licensed counselor in Iowa.

Lindsey Pruett-Hornbaker (she/her) is a Master’s level Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at Drake University. Lindsey has 14+ years of multi-sector experience in human services, with a focus on supporting minoritized and marginalized communities. She is committed to partnering with children and families as they journey toward wellness.

Rachael Jackson (she/her) is a Master’s level Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at Drake University. Rachael has over 10+ years of experience working with underserved populations in community-based art learning. Her background includes a BA in Art History (University of Northern Iowa) and advanced trainings in the expressive arts therapies, including an Art Therapy Certificate (Grand View University). Rachael’s clinical focus includes trauma- informed expressive therapies and client centered therapy with an emphasis in the historical and intergenerational traumas experienced by marginalized identities. Her current post graduate goals include becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, certified Trauma-Informed Expressive Arts Therapist (EXAT), and pursuing a doctoral degree.
